Seems like quite a few Supersports changed hands over the past few years, but today’s might have some of the lowest miles and best condition around – plus the number 131 SP badge.
1995 Ducati 900 SS/SP Supersport for sale on eBay
Ducati was able to put some Cagiva development lira into the 900SS, and presented a pretty together 84 hp package. Targeting the North American market, the SP had the aluminum swingarm and carbon mudguards, plus adjustable Showa suspension. The trellis frame and cast wheels were dusted in gold, and the lightweight fairing kept the weight from getting too much over 400 lbs. ready to ride.
This SP looks to be part of a larger collection, and is more stock than usual with original exhaust. What seem to be aftermarket brake lines caught my eye, and hopefully the carbon trim on the triple tree is preventing rather than covering keychain patina. The owner might have been too busy shampooing carpet to write more notes for the eBay auction:

Ducati took their eyes off the Supersport segment to bring the Monster to life, and yearly sales waned to just a few hundred in the late 90’s. Pierre Terblanche penned a 1999 update, but the complex bodywork couldn’t claim the race-derived style of the earlier model. This collector might have missed the peak of the market, but this example should still do well.
